Suitable applicants will have to pass various checks including references and hold a valid enhanced DBS. We are able to arrange the application of an enhanced DBS, should it be required.
The majority of appointments are made between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm Monday to Friday, but occasional evening and weekend work does occur. On every occasion an interpreter accepts an appointment a Completion Form (time sheet) has to be filled in with job details, taken to the appointment, signed by a person in authority at the venue and returned to our office.
All interpreters work on a self-employed basis. Your local Social Security Office is available to answer any queries you may have concerning Income Tax and National Insurance.
